The first Pan American Round Table was organized in San Antonio, Texas on October 16, 1916 by Florence Griswold. The Alliance of Pan American Round Tables was organized in Mexico City in October 1944. The studies and activities of the Tables are directed toward mutual knowledge, understanding and friendship among women of the Western Hemipshere.
The Pan American Round Table of El Paso, Texas, was founded by Mrs. M. P. Schuster in November 1921.
