Scholarships

The Pan American Roundtable of El Paso, TX offers scholarships to deserving students at El Paso Community College, the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and other area universities. The information is below.

UTEP

Three scholarships are available:

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP #1
Typically $1,500 a year

  • Open to anyone pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Open to any major – university wide
  • Eligibility requirements:
    • Must have a 3.5 GPA
    • Must have 60 credit hours
    • Must be a full-time student (defined as 12 hours)
    • Preference for El Paso/Ciudad Juarez area student
    • Preference for student from lower-income household or demonstrating financial need
  • Renewable if student has demonstrated commitment

Typically $1,500 a year

  • Open to anyone pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

  • Returning students pursuing a degree in nursing or education

SCHOLARSHIP

The Pan American Round Table Scholarship for Second Chances was established for the exclusive purpose of providing scholarships and/or grants to women who are returning to pursue a degree in healthcare or education at one of the following public institutions of higher education: University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Community College, or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-El Paso.
